Baldi & Suburban Graffiti is a collaboration of 8 musicians all from different musical backgrounds, forming a live powerful mix of hip-hop, funk, and jazz.
Located in New Jersey, the band has been able to land gigs at venues such as Nokia Theatre, B.B. King's, The Avalon, and many others. Suburban Graffiti uses all raw instrumentation to develop a new hip-hop sound driven by live instruments. Solo's and spotlights frequently ask the listener to appreciate the musical talent these 20-year-old guys have.
Baldi and Never Yet Contested (MC's) team up to complete the sound with conscious lyrics and stiff delivery. Their stage performance is extremely playful, bringing two different backgrounds (Summit, New Jersey and Brooklyn, New York) together for a unique mix of socially aware lyricism.
